Robert Pate - Chairman
Robert Pate is the pastor of Bible Community Baptist Church in Central City, IA. He is the chairman of the Iowa Baptist fellowship.
Robert has been married to his dear wife, Renae and they have four adult daughters. He graduated from Baptist Bible College, Luther Rice Seminary, and Liberty Baptist Seminary.
Robert has a great love for the Bible and teaching its truths to others, and he desires to see the other churches in Iowa being blessed as they serve our Savior and Lord.
Ed Matthews-
State Treasurer
Ed grew up near Detroit Michigan as 1 of 16 children. He is a graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. He married Deborah Gilbert in 1983 and has 3 adult children, Jenna, David, and Luke. He also has 3 grandsons, Gabriel, Brantley, and Bryer. He has served for 11 years as Music and Youth Pastor at churches in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Before coming to Iowa, he served as Senior Pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Brown City, Michigan for 7 years. He is currently serving as Senior Pastor at Bible Baptist Church of Ottumwa and is going into his 18th year. He has served as President for the Iowa Baptist Bible Fellowship and as Secretary of the Michigan Baptist Bible Fellowship. He currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Iowa Baptist Bible Fellowship.
Ed’s hobbies include golf, home improvement projects, substitute teaching and spending time with his family.

Seth Henschen
Seth Henschen serves as the Young Adult & Missions pastor at Heartland Baptist Church in Ames, IA and is the web administrator of the Iowa Baptist fellowship.
Seth married Cynthia on July 21, 2018. They have two children. Seth graduated from Baptist Bible College.
